NAIROBI: The death toll from an ambush on Kenyan police officers in the north of the country more than doubled on Sunday to 26, according to figures obtained by AFP.

The previous death toll from Saturday's attack on officers pursuing cattle thieves was 11, but that figure rose after the discovery of more bodies, a police source said. (AFP)
